As new moms, its almost impossible to resist all of the adorable options out there for your little ones, but we are still mindful of ways to be sustainable and fashionable at the same time. Enter Salvage Maria, the handmade kids clothing line launched just months ago that works with local vendors in Los Angeles, using salvaged, upcycled and reclaimed fabrics.
With all of their signature pieces “made to order,” Salvage Maria is able to turn out bad ass little jackets like this fringe number from scouring flea markets, vintage and thrift stores. “We make clothes that you would totally wear if you were 20 times smaller!” Claims the brand’s website.
The “deconstructed denim” line is hand-distressed and hand bleached.
We love the ethos of this adorable line and their motto: “All clothes have a special story and they would be so lucky to rewrite their history with you.”
In addition to her website, Salvage Maria will be available for four weeks during the next installment of Olivia Kim’s Eco friendly themed Nordstrom Pop In beginning September 12th.
