A welcome bright spot amidst all this gloomy rain is Margherita Maccapani Missoni Amos’ new collection for Pottery Barn Kids.

The collection quite literally sings of sunshine and includes the boldest colors in the crayon box. And like her family’s storied fashion brand, mixing prints, patterns, zigs and zags seems to be no problem here either.

Amos’ happy Daisy motif mingles well with pom pom pillows and geometric patterned bedspreads. Pillow cases are embroidered with colorful phrases along the edges and sweet sayings in Italian such as, “Ciao Ciao Bambina” are easily framable or look adorable hanging on the wall.

The whole thing is whimsical but far from juvenile and certainly answers that age old conundrum of being able to make a kid’s room sweet, innocent and childlike, but also chic, sophisticated and with room to grow.

The capsule collection, which is Amos’ first foray into children’s home furnishings, is now available online at potterybarnkids.com and Pottery Barn Kids stores nationwide on January 20th, with prices ranging from $19-$399.
