The summer is in full swing (and at full blast heat) and lot’s of kids are having the BEST time ever at their respective camps. And it’s no surprise considering that there is literally a camp for everything now. From cooking camp to robotics and writing code, kids are spending the glory days of summer already honing their professional skills so they can soon start earning their keep in the household, er…stoke their passion doing what they love.
Design camp is the one that catches our attention and has us seething with a little jealousy that it wasn’t around when we were kids. For the 3rd summer, Design Camp has commenced in Los Angeles and Orange County and the activities and guest speakers couldn’t be cooler.
Geared toward kids 11 to 17 who love fashion, the camp includes styling, photography and interior design courses with workshops led by people includinginterior designer, Alfred Tea and Gulla Jonsdottir, Bridal Designer Gretchen Dawley, Lifestyle Blogger and Social Media Influencer Heidi Nazarudin of The Ambitionista, and wait for it – the design team for clothing brand Kendall & Kylie,
Design camp is currently in session, but goes through early/mid August, so sign up the budding creatives/next contestants on Project Runway Junior, in your family and watch them sew and style their way through the rest of the summer.
